Americans Say Bush Less Ethical Than Clinton

Over the weekend, ABC News and the Washington Post conducted a poll on the indictment of Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff Lewis Libby. It showed that 34% of Americans rate Bush's handling of ethics as "Excellent" or "Good," compared to 37% for Clinton (because of the margin of error, it is fairer to consider the two to be tied, but my headline is more fun).

They also say, by a margin of 46% to 15%, that the level of honesty and ethics has declined under Bush.

Remember when Bush was supposed to return integrity to the White House?
